Fugitive Emission Applications

Packing made of expanded graphite yarns reinforced with Inconel wires, coated with a graphite-based mix doped with a friction-enhancing agent. LATTYgraf 6940 EF contains a corrosion inhibitor to protect the valve stem and the stuffing box.

Tested in compliance with the draft standard ISO 15848 on fugitive emissions. Leak < 500 ppm. TUV (VDI 2440).

Thermal oils and all high-temperature fluids, power stations, refineries, boiler plants, etc. Recommendation: LATTYgraf 6940 EF is recommended as anti-extrusion rings in mixed assemblies with LATTYgraf 6960 EF, LATTYgraf EF4 or LATTYflon 3260 LM Limitation: precautions in oxidising environment.
